Competition Appeal Tribunal Preliminary Issue Hearing Concludes

A two-day Competition Appeal Tribunal hearing featuring Berkeley Square clients UKRS Ltd has concluded. The preliminary issue before the court concerned whether the Respondents, the NSAR can be considered an "undertaking" for the purposes of competition law. Four witnesses were called and extensive legal argument considered by the CAT at the hearing on the 6-7th October 2016. The Tribunal has reserved judgement which is expected to be handed down in writing within the next two weeks.
